My great great grandfather was named Andrew W Jackson. He showed being born in York county, SC abt 1810. I know nothing of his family, parents or siblings except that on the census he says his father was born in NC and his mother in VA. His family wife Messina Adaline Cowan Jackson left SC and went to Ill between 1860 and 1870 and had one child there, they then left with family floated down the ms in a covered wagon and ended up in Ms. I was told through my mother still living that he was a cousin of President Andrew Jackson. Maybe this could be through his mother since she was born in VA.
