I am searching, unsuccessfully, for a James Edward(Georgia history book has this as his name) or John (as 1850 and 1860 census's has it listed). He was born about 1830, in Edgefield area I believe. Married a Mary or Melinda, think her last name is Finlay. Her mother Ann lived with them in Alabama in 1850 and 1860. They later moved to Georgia. I have no record of them other than the 2 census and the information from the Georgia's, "Harris County History"Book . Any tidbit would help.
