My gggraandfather, Isaac Jackson, was born in Alabama in 1825. According to the 1880 census both parents were born in Georgia. Isaac married my gggrandmother, Missouri Abigail Harriss, in Coosa County, Alabama May 5, 1850 and in November 1850 they are censused in the home of Henry & Delilah Jackson in Talapoosa County, Alabama. Henry was shown to be 62 on the 1850 census. I found where a Henry Jackson married a Delila Gordon in 1809 in Greene County, Georgia. I am trying to find if this is my Henry & Delilah Jackson. If the 1850 census is correct Delila would have been a very young bride. According to a first cousin of my grandfather, my gggrandfather was Isaac Francis Jackson. However, his tomb marker in Gonzales County, Texas shows his name as Isaac Franklin Jackson, according to the Gonzales County genweb site. No date given but he died between 1890 and 1900. Missouri died in Alabama before the move to Texas, probably Mongtomery or Macon County, Alabama.
