I can highly recommend Ancestry.com (way before Rootsweb went in with them) - - have been a member for years - once you become acquainted with all that they have available, and all of the "how-to" - you'll love it - - additional databases are available should you want to subscribe to those - if you're just starting or still "stateside" the regular membership should suffice until you feel your way through - plus they have a wonderful magazine you'll enjoy - keeps you up to date!
