Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Xgk.2ACEB/7565.1 Message Board Post: Richard - Have you checked out the LDS site - - go to http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp - if that link doesn't get you to the actual search site - go to http:///www.familysearch.org - click on "search" then after there click on "census" Put in William Jackson - yr. born 1875 - then select age span + or - 5 yrs. - That will give you those b. 1870-1880 - then insert "United States" and then "Alabama" - It pulled up MANY William Jacksons b. in Ala, as well as those showin within the 1880 census living with others living with relatives in other states or with parents who had moved since the birth of William. Just randomly, I clicked on one and came up with a William Jackson, age 8 birthplace AL showing relationship to HH as "other" within HH Thomas Jackson within Simpson, Grant, Arkansas. Not that this one is yours - may be - you need to check out the MANY William Jacksons shown within the time period Hope this site will be of benefit to you - - Good luck Evyonne
