Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Xgk.2ACEB/7537 Message Board Post: I have hit a brick wall for the last ten years on this ancestor. A family letter indicates that Anna Louisa Jackson (d/o Elsaphane Jackson and Mary Stokes - Anna first married a Baynard) married an E.G. Robinson circa 1867. To them was born: William T. April 13, 1868 died "young" in Texas- Fort Bend? D.G. (Donald Green?) December 04, 1869 born in Summit or Hattiesburg, MS Kate Rosa January 10, 1871 d:September 13, 1873 Amarintha Madora April 03, 1874 d:November 18, 1875 Cornelia April 11, 1875 d:July 17, 1876 In 1877 the family moved to Tarrant Co; TX. E.G. is listed in the Ft. Worth city directory as living at a Tucker's house. It is either prior to the move or immediately after that Anna Louisa Jackson died. In the 1880 census I find a Willie T. Robinson working for a family in Fort Bend TX (age and place of birth fit) and E.G. is living there as well working as a carpenter. He states that he was born in MS about 1832. In December of that year - E.G. remarries a Mary James? Jones? in Fort Bend. No mention of Donald Green Robinson. In the 1890 census I find Donald Green Robinson working at the state convict camp in Fort Bend Texas. Donald Green Robinson later moved to Snyder TX and married Leona Pearl Wolf. During the early 1930's just prior to his death Donald Green visited often to Sugarland TX which is in the Ft. Bend area. Was he visiting family? Where are his mother Anna Louisa and the young sibling children buried? Who was the second wife of E.G.? Who are E.G.'s parents? What in the heck does E.G. stand for? Hope you have info - please post.
