    3. Hi Listers, A Great Grandmother of mine, Elizabeth Jackson was born and lived in Skewsby, North Yorkshire, England with her Parents, William and Elizabeth Jackson, a sister and 6 brothers. The eldest of the 4 brothers reputedly emigrated to Three Rivers, North America. The brothers were William (b. 1828), John (b. 1830), George (b.1833) & Thomas (b.1835). They were recorded in the 1841 census for Skewsby but not in the 1851 so the may have emigrated between these dates. During the Second World War a Mustang pilot with a surname of Myers (or similar) visited Skewsby and claimed he was descended from one of the Jackson brothers. The results of my recent research is in the attached document. Please note that in the death information for John Jackson, the age and parents are the same as for the John Jackson that reputedly emigrated.
