Son of James Jackson and Sansparilla Dewsinberry. Married Emily P. Edwards (daughter of Lindsay Edwards of Walker County, Georgia). This couple moved from Walker County, Georgia to Sugar Loaf Township (Sebastian County, Arkansas) in 1860. Had four daughters-Sarah; Lindsay S.; Felitha G. and Mary F. (who married William F. Harrell in Sebastian County in Jan. 1879). They are listed on the US Census for 1860, 1870 and 1880 for Sebastian County. I am the G Grandson of William A. Jackson's brother (James Van Buren Jackson) and am trying to find out what happened to him, where he and his wife are buried, etc. Have a lot of information on this family and am willing to share.
