So I went and looked to see what you are looking at. And this is what I found. The 1900 census shows that Eva is the niece of David and Mary Shaw. The 2nd family listed on the first page of Gilliam, Mayville County is an Ollie Jackson b. 1891 in Oregon. Eva was born in 1889 Oregon. This is my thoughts on the subject and I have seen this before. Eva was probably visiting the her sister who married a Shaw. 2nd family listed living in Gilliam, Mayville County has a daughter named Ollie Jackson. Ollie is the daughter of Nancy (can't read the last name). Nancy could have remarried. There are no other Jacksons living in Gilliam, Mayville Co, Oregon Back then the census taker counted who was in the house on that day and the time the census taker came.
