    2. I have been off the list for about 2 years, so I'll try posting my info again and see if anyone recognizes this family: Benjamin JACKSON b: c 1790 - 1800 (according to census)? d: 1847 Washington County, MO m: Unknown (but "possibly" a SEABOURNE or EVANS both with various spellings) Children: 1. Martha Jane JACKSON b: Jul 26, 1828, in TN m: George Washington STROUP 2. William Andrew JACKSON b: Aug 09, 1830 (?) in TN m: #1 Pa(u)line Elizabeth HARRISON #2 Narcissus Ann WILEY #3 Belle OLIVE 3. James Monroe JACKSON b: Aug 31, 1832, in TN m: #1 Susan STROUP (Father: John) #2 Jane L. Mathews 4. Melvina D. JACKSON b: c 1834 in MO m: Samuel WASHBURN 5. Emily D. JACKSON b: c 1837 in MO m: Jacob G. WILSON 6. George Washington JACKSON b: Jan 06, 1839 in MO m: Livonia Deborah WHITE 7. Lucinda E. JACKSON b: c 1841 in MO m: John H. BUTLER The only Benjamin JACKSON I can find in the 1830 census with a girl under 5 is in Morgan County, TN. Benjamin and "Mrs" JACKSON died before Oct 1847, in Washington County, MO and James Monroe SEABOURNE (SAYBORN) is the Administrator of his probate and in 1852 is given guardianship of 4 of the JACKSON children. In the 1850 Washington County census, all the JACKSON children are shown living with Lucinda EVANS age 66, b: VA. Lucinda EVANS is James Monroe SEABOURNE's Mother. In a letter from a SEABOURNE lady written in c 1957, she says James Monroe SEABOURNE is the Administrator of "his brother in law or half brother in law's probate." Does anyone know anything of this Benjamin JACKSON family? I descend from George Washington and Livonia (WHITE) JACKSON. Thanks much marykell
