The Jackson line came from Virginia in 1805 to Lafayete co, Missouri, then to Crawford co, Arkansas. We have no information before our common ancestor, Abraham Jackson who according to census information was born in Virginia in 1805. We cant find him in 1880 although he is believed to have lived until at least 1883 so we dont know where his parents were from. Members of the invite only group are descendants of his 11 known children who grew up and mostly raised their families in the Crawford Co AR and Sequoyah Co OK area. The site is to get to know cousins better and to try to jointly search for information about Abe. tThe information on Abraham is found on rootsweb.com so anything you want to know about him is found there without a password.
