He was born in Junction City, Ark., and served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Lakeside Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his daughter, Donna McDonald of Escondido; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. tomorrow, Lakeside-Santee Funeral Chapel, 9840 Maine Ave., Lakeside.
