The 1880 census lists her as Clarinda. I have a picture of her mother and on the back it lists her as the mother of Clarinda J. Her parents were Hanibal and Hannah Mitten Jackson. In 1880 they lived in Tippecanoe Co., IN. Hannah was not listed on the census report so am thinking she died before then. The picture states she died very young of TB. As far as I know she was their only child. I haven't been able to find anything on them after that census. Hannah and my great grandfather were brother and sister.
