JACKSON, born October 3 , 1946 in Biddeford, Maine, passed away suddenly December 14, 1998 in Austin, Texas at the age of 52. Richard was a retired Houston Police Officer, and worked with Conroe Independent School District in law enforcement. He was also an avid boater, and an automobile and collector car enthusiast. A devoted husband, father, and a grandfather, Richard is survived by his wife, Charlene Jackson; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Clare Jackson; sister, Andrea Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Keith Griffin; daughter, Karen Jackson; grandson, Dustin Griffin. The family will receive friends from 3 :00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17 in The Magnolia Room at Forest Park - The Woodlands Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 18, 1998 at Forest Park The Woodlands Chapel with Rev. Glen Norman officiating. Interment, with honors from the Houston Police Department, will follow in the Jackson Family Estate at Forest Park ! - The Woodlands Cemetery.
