Hello List, I just joined. I'm researching a line of African American Jacksons, who originated out of Pike County and Meriwether County Georgia. I have the following names I am looking at: 1. Arnold Jackson b. 1832 Meriwether county and wife Lena/Tena (moved to Pike County later) Children: Charlotte, John, Alonzo, William, Burwell, Sallie (my line descends thru Sallie who married Ben Lovelace) 2. Abe and Mausie Lee Jackson Children: Mable, James, Leroy, Robert, Cleveland, Arnold (I'm thinking that this is the same Arnold as above but not sure) 3. Joe and Mattie Jackson of Meriwether County Also trying to figure who were the Jacksons that left Pike County GA and moved to Columbus OH. I know there was a Wille B. Jackson who married Ruby Evans and had a son Willie B Jackson Jr who married Martha Watson. They moved to Columbus and passed away here. I know they are related, but can't make the connection between Willie B (Ruby) Jackson and the other Jackson's listed above. Hope someone out there can point me in the right direction.
