This John Jackson was my great great grandfather and aside from my direct line from him, I have very little . He left his older children in Tennessee and went to Izard Co. AR. and I think the part of Izard he lived in became Stone Co. It seems strange that his entire family just fell into a black hole. I understand he died but what happened to the last 5 children? Where is John Buried? What was Elizabeth's maiden name. After years and years I am sitting at this same brick wall. Mary, there seems to be a lot of John Jacksons born about 1813 that were married to an Elizabeth. My gg, John "Humpy" Jackson and his second wife Elizabeth Durham had a daughter, Henrietta Elizabeth born in Yell Co., AR. She married Joseph M. Harkey in TX. Could this be one of your Harkey line? All my Jacksons came to TX.
