Funeral services were held at 5 o'clock Monday at the chapel of Marshall and Harper, where the body was taken immediately after being identified, Rev. H H Van Horn officiated. No further light has been thrown on the manner in which the lad met his death, the supposition still being that he attempted to catch the passenger and fell beneath the wheels. He went to his home, 400 East Fourth street late Sunday afternoon and bade his folks goodbye, but did not tell them where he was going and they thought little of it. No word has come from the other boy who is thought to have been with the Jackson lad in the Santa Fe yards early Sunday night. ***posted for genealogical purposes only; no relation*** Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
