My Jacksons lived in the Townlands of Movenis, Ballyagan, Garvagh Town, Kilrea, all in the Coleraine area. I have in the past read some History books and noticed that some people in Co Armagh beleive that Stonewall Jacksons ancestors orriginated from Co Armagh, Yet I have always beleived and have seen in this list that he has roots in the Coleraine Garvagh areas. Plus, The Jacksons of Armagh area are supposed to have been Episcopalians, (Established Church) yet my Jacksons in the Garvagh area where all Presbyterians !!!! I would be delighted to hear from anyone who may be related to my Jacksons, and any one who has further proof as to where Stonewalls ancestors were from !! Best Wishes, Derek.
