Andrew Jackson except as cousins. None of us could be a direct descendent of his. The rules of the Hermitage is anyone that can prove the they are related to him in anyway. There is a register at the Hermitage. I have not seen it since I have never been there but someone in our family is registered in that book. I will try to call my brother tomorrow and talk with him about it. Right now I am more interesed in finding out who my great great grandparents were. They must have been born around 1809 for my grandmother was Susan Adaline Jackson born Dec 31 1854 and her father James A. Jackson was born in 1828 just four year after Stonewall. Sarah
