Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Xgk.2ACEB/6734.3 Message Board Post: What do you know, I have finally found a relative on my grandmothers side of the family. My grandmother was Susan Adaline Jackson born Dec 31 1954. According to the 1860 cencus, Jerome was 15 years old, Newton T. (Newt) ll, Martha A. 9, Alford N. 8, Duncan 7, and Susan A. 6. If by now you have made progress on this family, please let me know. Susan married Charles Linsfield Berryhill on January 8, 1878 in Marshall County, Tennessee. They had the following children: Thomas Mack b May 8, 1880, Lee Rambo b. Dec 11, 1881 in Madison County, Alabama, Susan b. January 9, 1884 and d. May 16, 1896, Joseph Grissell b. Feb. 24, 1885, Francis Duke (Frank) b. Feb. 29, 1888, and James Lowe, my father, born March 5, 1890 d. May 15, 1974. In the 1880 cencus, it shows where Newton was living with my grandparents. He was a widowed. Both my grandparent and Uncle Lee Rambo are burried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Madison County, Huntsville, Alabama. Susan died March 18, 1903. I have visited their grave site. If you know how we are related to Stonewall Jackson, please let me know. I had always heard we were related to President Andrew Jackson but never new how. I must be true because my niece was married at the Heritage in Nashville, TN and spent the night upstairs. Only decendance of Andrew Jackson is allowed to go upstairs in the home. Stonewall was related to him also so we could be related to Andrew through Stonewall. Please let me know anything you might have. Maybe we can send email to each other. Thank You, Sarah Rice
