There was a fire in the federal census building at some point and burned those records from Arkansas and, as I understand, Alabama. One line of my family (not Jackson) was in Arkansas. There was a fire, there, burning the county courthouse, and, then, the federal records also burned the same records. Very frustrating. Lyndall "Lyn" Young Sellers
