My gggg grandfather was Jethro Jackson, m. Zelicia Coggelshall; their son was Oren Jackson, b. 1798 in Hay Bay, Ontario, Canada, m. Mary E. (Polly) Card, Feb. 9, 1818; their son was Ransler Jackson, b. March 3, 1841 in Enterprise, Ontario, CA., Married Ester Rose abt. 1865 in Ontario, CA., one of his son's Marshall William Jackson b. 1861 in Peterborought, Ontario, m. Hester Jane Harvey in 1881; they had 2 sons Earl, Burnett Harvey (my grandfather) b. Dec. 15, 1885 in Neche, North Dakota, he married my grandmother Lenora Shepherd on June 6, 1906 in Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada. My dad was named after his grandfather Marshall Jackson (no middle name) on March 28, 1907 in Parkman, Saskatchewan. I have my Jackson family going back to England.
