    3. In looking up Margaret Wilson in Myers book I find the following "Andrew Moore and Margaret Wilson, both of Dunclady Meeting," were married "att ye house of Katherine Henderson in Dunclady [ county Antrim] ye 27th day of ye 2 mo [ April], 1715 as by ye certificate ma appear." Minutes of Ulster Province Meeting, Ireland.) This Margaret apparently died in 1722 or 23 though, before Moore migrated to Pennsylvania. Ironically, many of her children married into the Jackson family ----- Original Message ----- From: "Evyonne Andrews Eddins" <evonandrews@sbcglobal.net> To: <JACKSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 30, 2003 8:54 AM Subject: [JACKSON] Re: William Jackson d. 1792 Guilford Co., NC > Within the Will of William Jackson dated 1 Oct 1792, probated Nov. This same Joseph Summers was also mentioned within William's will as "my son-in-law", as was Andrew Jackson, shown as "my son". > > William Jackson's property was next to a John Ross within Guilford Co., NC. On 20 June 1759, a John Ross of Middlesex, is shown to marry Sarah Jackson, of Woodbridge (both communities within Middlesex County, New Jersey. (Is this the same John Ross living next to William Jackson in Guilford Co., NC? Is the Sarah Jackson who married John Ross, a daughter or sister of William? By 1800, there was a Joseph Jackson living next door to William's son, Andrew Jackson (b. 1767-1770) - These same names show up within the 1752 tax list of Londongrove, Chester Co., PA - coincidence? > > The Summers family migrated into Sumner Co., TN for a few years then on into Illinois. William's son, Andrew Jackson who married Nancy Bridges 5 March 1792 in Guilford County, NC - Bond #000056641; Record #02 225; Bondsman Joseph Sumers, was shown as HH in 1800 census of Guilford Co., TN with 2 sons under 10 (John & Jonathan) migrated into Jackson County,TN and was shown within 1820 census (he could well have been there much earlier - 1790, 1800 and 1810 census of TN LOST). > > Any clues, Bible Records, etc. leading toward documenting marriage(s) of the above William Jackson to Margaret Lavingston/Livingston and/or Margaret Wilson is appreciated. > > Evyonne > > > > ==== JACKSON Mailing List ==== > Please do not post virus warnings, jokes or poems to the list > To contact listowner write Mary Russell maryiola@alltel.net > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
