Jackson is the son of Creed Jackson, son of Carr Jackson. Yes there was a family store, I believe on the top of Fonde (sp) Mtn. My dad has relayed a story about the killing of a black man that I cannot recall if it was Creed or Carr but I think Carr and the story I got was it was over a poker game and the poor man died. Creed has two children still living, my dad and his sister Ethel. I have great book that Claud's daughter compliled. It is photocopied. I live in SF but will be in Ohio from May 14 to May 19 visiting my mom and dad, they are in Dayton. Please email me : )
