Magdalene was the daughter of Dr. Samuel Demourvill and Hannah (Cox) Lamkin of Westmoreland County. Three sons ; Julius Augustus Jackson - b. ca. 1733, Thaddeus Jackson - b. ca. 1735, Christopher Mc Cabeus Jackson, b. ca. 1737. Dr. Julius Augustus Jackson, b. ca 1733, resided in Westmoreland Co, VA; Somerset Co, MD; Dorchester Co, Md ; and Sussex Co., Delaware on the Nanticoke River below the town of Seaford, Dela. Sally (Sarah) married 2). Julius was a member of the Delaware Regiment in the Rev. War, and one of the corporators in 1798 of the Delaware State Medical Society.
