I know that they married sometime in the early 1860's in Decatur County, Indiana. I have record of their children living with Melinda's mother, Sarah Lawson in the 1880 census, but do not know what became of these two. My great-aunt told me that they left their children, along with her grandfather with their grandmother and took off. I do not know if this is true or not, but this is where I have hit a snag in my research. If anyone knows anything about this couple, please let me know. Thanks. Sarah Redwine
