Lemuel was likely married previously, if I have him correctly on the 1840 census in Chambers Co. AL. He and Permelia were in Coosa Co. AL for 1850 & 1860 census. Does anyone know who Lemuel's parents were and where in NC the family came from? Lemuel is likely my ggrandfather's (Daniel Jackson)relative, as they lived a few doors apart. Can't find parents or siblings of Daniel. He's been my brick wall for years, so I've started searching for Lemuel's parents & ancestors, hoping to connect them perhaps.
