He lives adjacent to the original land grant to Thomas Jackson and has a clear genealogy back to him. DNA testing is a convenient way to confirm relationship to this group. This man is in group L - Irish Quaker Jacksons which is about 1/3 the way down the Y-DNA Results Classic or Colorized pages with a green highlight. There are also members of this group who have tested Y-DNA at Ancestry.com and the Sorenson Molecular Genetics Foundation, so testing at any of these companies will enable you to find out if you match them.
