    3. Hello list, I am hoping someone here can help me with my Jackson roadblock. I am descended from one Elizabeth Jackson (11 Nov 1793 - 22 May 1868). Her parents are unknown to me, I have few clues, but I am hoping someone here knows of this Elizabeth. Here is what I know. She married Amos Kelley 25 Mar 1817 in Franklin Co KY. They later migrated to Vigo Co IN. Her husband was dead before 1840, and she is shown with her own household. She gives her place of birth in both the 1850 and 1860 censuses as SC. By 1860 she is living in Story County IA with her children's families, before she died in 1868 and is buried in White Oak Cemetery, which is where the DOB and DOD come from. Searching on the internet didnt give me much. I found this on an unsourced tree here: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=:2445132&id=I520449852 I tried contacting the owner of the page but got no reply. Her correspondent claims that Elizabeth Jackson is a descendant of John Jackson, ancestor of Stonewall Jackson. However, I have checked all of the sons of John Jackson - none of them migrated to SC, nor KY in the right period. At first, it seemed plausible as many of the Jacksons did migrate to Vigo Co IN, but if theres a connection, it isnt through the sons of John. So, my question to the list would be, unless anyone here already knows the answer to her parentage, does anyone know of a SC Jackson family that migrated to Franklin Co KY ? The population of SC was low in the 1790s and I doubt there could have been too many Jacksons families. Thanks alot if anyone can help. Daniel Maxwell
