I received this information from a thoughtful soul: FAMILY BIBLE OF JOHN ARTHUR GARDNER Mentioned inside is Charles Evans Gardner and William Hippisley Jackson. You might not be interested in this, but if you are the following is a link to the eBay auction of this bible. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Antique-Vintage-Set-3-Holy-Bible-Volume-1-2-3-18th-century-letters-/260923866663?pt=Antiquarian_Books_UK&hash=item3cc0463e27 <http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Antique-Vintage-Set-3-Holy-Bible-Volume-1-2-3-18th-century-letters-/260923866663?pt=Antiquarian_Books_UK&hash=item3cc0463e27> I have a record of a Thomas Hippisley JACKSON on my page: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/familytree/JACKSONs-Duddington.html This would seem to suggest the possibility of a link to the Duddington JACKSONs. The bible was given to WIlliam Hippisley JACKSON in 1860 from his uncle, Charles Evans GARDNER. Let me know if this fits with anyone's known family.
