He married Sarah Anders in 1779 in Halifax. They had one child named in DAR Pension papers of Low Jackson. Sarah had a sister named Rebecca that married ____Ellis. William had witnesses to attest to the fact he was already married when he served in the Rev War. One was James Durham of Warren Co., NC. Anybody recognize anything?
