I tried to get a researcher to go the Greene County Circuit court records to find the actual court proceedings on the adultery charge as we just have abstracts. If you are in the area you may want to see if you can find the actual files from the abstracts to find out who brought the adultery charges up and how it was all resolved. I am not sure if they are archived with the state archives or with Greene County. I would love to see this mystery solved.
