Click the DNA tab above and read about it. It will cost about $150 to get the yDNA test here. You just pay for it online and they send you a kit with a Qtip swab to take a sample from the inside of your mouth by rubbing the cheek. Looks like you can choose between a 33 or 47 marker. You pack it up and mail back in the box provided. Once your results are available, they will be posted in the database and you can have them show the closest matches. They have come up with a system to group similar tests into haplogroups. For example mine is a I1, which supposedly originated in Scandinavian (Vikings?).
