My Daniel Jackson was born N. C. but I have not been able to figure out, for sure, where in N. C. in order to find a father. Do you know where in N. C. your ancestors were? What County? My Daniel Jackson (my g-g-grandfather) was born 1813 in N. C. (according to 1850 census) and died in Alabama before the 1860 census. If you have any Daniel Jackson in the descendants of your David Jackson that were born around 1813, I'd love to share with you and work with you to go further back. My research is my own. I've been stuck here for years. The reason I think there is a possible connection, is because of the name "David Jackson" which is also in my line that descends from my Daniel.
