The birthday and place of birth that I listed for my Daniel Jackson: b. 1813 NC and death after 1850 census is where my dead end is. This is why I am snatching at any straw. I'm searcing for parents and siblings but N. C. is huge and many HOH are on 1810 & 1820 census. I have no clue where to start until I have someone to suspect he might link to. I can give you his wife's name and his children's names. (which won't be much help) His wife was Christian Stewat and Children were Alexander Jackson b. 1847, Thomas Jackson b. 1848 and William Jackson b. 1850. William may not have survived as mother died before 1850 census where he was only 2 months old. I haven't identified him anywhere since. Since you gave more info on your Daniel, I can see that my Daniel is not the same as yours. Thank you so much for responding to my post.
