Hunting hard for my great great grandpa James ( AKA : Jas and John) Edward Jackson. It is said that he was born in Edgefield, SC about 1830. In 1850 he was in Alabama. Not sure when the family arrived there. I can't connect my family to any other in Alabama. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
