Their trail quckly grows cold. This is what I have. Father of David Clemmons Jackson was David Johnathon Jackson of Montford County, Kentucky. That is all I have on the father. No dates of birth, marriage or death. Birth date of David Clemmons is Dec 1823, birth day unknown.Birth location is Indiana. Died 19 Nov 1909 McCook, Red Willow, Nebraska, buried 20 Nov 1909 at the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mccook, Red Willow, Nebraska He moved about a bit. Blackburn history states he was a miller. Locations where he lived, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana 1850, Jackson Townshiop, Brown County, Indiana in 1860, Nixon, Harp Township, Dewitt County, Illinois in 1860, taken from the census. Blackburn history states all the Jacksons and children moved to Hebron, Thayer County, Nebraska and homesteaded there. Later on, half of the family moved to Kansas. 1890 to 1909: Lived with his daugther to the time of his death in Decatur, Kansas.Son in law was Robert David Wilson and Nancy E Blackburn Jackson Wife: Hannah Blackburn. We think Hannah's dad was Benjamin Franklin Blackburn. There are several Benjamin Franklin Blackburns I have found, but I was not able to confirm which one was her father. Hannahs mom is Mary Hartley and I believe that Mary's parents were Thomas Hartely and Elizabeth Williams. Going back.. I will e-mail you a family group sheet to your e-mail on the decendents of David Clemmons and Hannah Blackburn. My husband is a ggggrandson of David and Hannah so you and he are of the same generation. Cheers Meli Calkins Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
