    1. [JACKSON] Jackson updates on SIlver Bowl and at rootsweb
    2. Sharon Oddie Brown
    3. I have significantly updated the line of JACKSONs of Duddington, England and Fanningstown, Co. Limerick, Ireland. This family started in Northamptonshire, and had a significant number of Irish connections. Their line is now connected to Sir Thomas Graham Jackson (1835-1924) of Eagle House, Wimbledon. His grandson is the composer Sir Nicholas JACKSON. The updates are included at my Rootsweb page: SEE: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igmuser.cgi/silverbowl.ged If you prefer the outline format of the family tree, the older version is at: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/familytree/JACKSONs-Duddington.html Also, there is a new page of gravestones and commentary that I have compiled: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/history/Jackson-Duddington-Graves.html Amongst these, the name of "Original JACKSON" was a new one for me. I have also updated information about JACKSON crests at: http://www.thesilverbowl.com/history/JACKSON-crests.html This method of trying to track lines of JACKSONs using images in family crests and in armorial bearings is proving to be quite fruitful. More soon, Sharon -- Sharon Oddie Brown, Roberts Creek, BC, Canada. History Project: www.thesilverbowl.com

Author: FrankForrester72 Surnames: Jackson, Turner Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.jackson/14241/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi I have searching for the death of my great grandmother, Eliza Jackson (nee Turner)for several years. Eliza was born in Shoreditch London in September 1862 to William Turner and Jane Mary Batho. She married her husband, Albert Jackson 1n October 1882. By 1896 they had had 5 children and by 1901 were living in Birkenhead Cheshire. By the time of the next cenus,in 1911 the family had relocated to Trafford park, Manchester. Albert died in 1912 and the last evidence I have of Eliza, was that she was named as next of kin when her youngest chikd, Herbert, joined the navy in 1915. After this, the trail goes cold. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Frank Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: redheadcounselor Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.jackson/8379.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I know you posted this message a while back, but I, too, am looking for information on Jacksons in Bell County, Texas. My great-grandfather was Thomas Woodrow Jackson b. June 1868 in Bell County, TX according to family records. I have found census records of a Thomas living as a child in that area and again with an uncle and aunt in Hamilton County, where my great-grandmother was born and where my great-grandparents were married in 1899. I am curious as to whether he is related to a Thomas W. Jackson from that area, and related to your relatives. I have no info on my great-grandfather's family beyond that he was raised by an older sister. Any info would be appreciated.
