Yes i Have my gt gt gdfather Jackson who marr a Betty Ford and who had my gt gdmother Mamie Jackson and she marr a Brewner from IL and they had my gdmother Jennie Brewner and she marr a William D. HOdge of KY and they had my mother Edna Hodge. On my HOdge family, the parents of William D. HOdge bn 1888 in Hopkins Co, KY are John HOdge and Minerva Siria. JOhns gdmother was Margaret E. HOdge bn 1837 KY. I Found her in the 1900 census of Hopkins Co, KY were my gdfather was living with her and also Margarets brother too. His name on the census was jumbles but i figured it out. It was spelled Berrowinar? (Which is really Benjamin, the one taking the census didnt know how to spell his name) Mullen bn 1845 KY. So i started looking for the info on any Mullen families and found the parents of Margaret and Benjamin with the same birth dates. It was cool. but im trying to find info on Margaret Emily Mullen, which is Mullin/Mullins and the connection and the marriage of her and her Hodge husband. Hopeing maybe you could help. Please let me know. Kathi

    3. On June 28, 1849 The Guy Mannering ship landed in New York, having come from Liverpool with some of my JACKSON ancestors. Dennis 40; his son Dennis 10; Johanna 35; Kate 8; Ellen 6; John 4; and Mary 1. Living in the same New York City household with them when the 1850 Census was taken was Mary COGHLAN who seems to be the same person who had moved to Chicago with little Mary JACKSON by the time the 1860 Census was taken. Little Mary was living with an older Mary JACKSON at the time. The older Mary JACKSON was my great-great grandmother, and the younger one was my great-grandmother whose obituary shows that her dad was Dennis JACKSON. Younger Mary and her parents had lived near Belfast, Ireland prior to coming to the United States. Does anyone else on this list have a connection to my JACKSONs? Thank you.

    2. I have some ancestors from New York State - all descended from Col. Giles Jackson (1732-1810) of Tyringham/Monterrey, MA. Giles had 14 children by his first wife and 6 by his second. At least 13 of these had children so there are a lot of potential relatives. Is this your line by any chance?

    3. I seem to remember the Jackson's in Guilford and Randolph were both Quakers originally and probably related. Hinshaw did not compile the records for the meetings in Pennsylvania where they originally immigrated but his Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy for North Carolina is fairly complete and would have most birth, death, marriage and migration records until they left the church. There were large Quaker communities in both Guilford and Randolf and they were popular destinations in the mid 1700's for Quakers looking for cheap land to settle. The three Quaker lines that I know of are my line of Ephraim Jackson from England and the two lines from Ireland which included Andrew Jackson and Gen Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. All three families arrived first arround southeast, PA in Chester Co. some migrated again fairly quickly.
