My G-Mother was Viola Jackson by marriage. My G-Father was James Elmer Jackson, I may have the first names reversed. My G-Parents had 4 children, My Dad, James Luther, brothers Jimmy Carroll, & Aubrey, and a sister Mary Jo. I am not sure if my G-Father had any brothers, he may have I would have to call my Aunt in Waco, she would know. Most of the Jackson family comes from around the Lampasses & Killeen Tx area that I am familiar with. Best I can remember, all the Jackson's were in and around east Texas.

Feb 23, 1820 in Booneville (spelling?) New York. He married Sarah Ann Parkhurst on Oct 25, 1855. Their first son was born in 1857 in Wisconsin. Abraham had his wife and twin baby girls die between August and October of 1864 and by Nov 16, 1864 was married again to Addie E. Henson who was 27 years younger than him. I think he remarried rather fast, but who knows the reasons for that. Their first daughter was born in 1868, but she died by 1870. However a second daughter was born to them that same year. I have dates from all the children if anyone needs them. The names of the children born to Abraham and sarah are: John Parkhurst, Jenoqua Salome (aka Jennie), Frank Roderick, and twins Hattie S. and Hester A. The children born to Abraham and Addie were: Mary Adelia, Nellie Eliza, Harriette Addie, Clarke Wilber, and Anna Laura. Courtney Page

Debbie, I believe you and I have corresponded before on the Jacksons. Clifford L Jackson, the son of James Alfred Jackson and Loretta Rothell Jackson is the nephew of my grandmother, Della Van Jackson, your descendent's, sister. I have nothing after 1939 at which time his sister Viola, is said to have received a letter from him. The origin of the letter has since been lost. I am curious if he was still in the home of his parents at the time of the 1930 census or did you find him somewhere else.
