(Bee here, Kenneth's daughter). That's very interesting. Don't know if I had this info when we spoke last. I found some notes mother had taken while talking with mammaw. Margaret and James were married in McGregor, Texas which is McLennon County. Mamma Hardin had 1/2 sibs and one brother named John. I also found the names Annie Hale and Lula F. Stone on the back of a picture (that I can't seem to locate now) . She possibly had a 1/2 brother named Tom. On the back of another picture was written, "My girls, Eva, Josie and Eliza". Could these be the girls you are referring to? On the back of a picture album I found these addresses: 960 E. 32nd Street 424 S. Rusk 422 S. Rusk Don't know if that means much. Have you gotten hold of Margaret and James' marriage license or Margaret's death cert? She died June 28, 1930 at Mammaw and Pappaw's house in San Saba. I'm not sure of the date they were married. Thanks!

It's possible Margaret has a 1/2 brother named John and step mother named Mary Caine of Mississippi. They are listed in the 1880 Navarro County Texas Census. If Mary Caine is her step-mother, the marriage date would have been December 24, 1874 Noxubee, Mississippi. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks! Elizabeth
Did Josiah and Martha have a son by the name of John. I have been trying to find the parents of my John Jackson who was born in VA on 16 October 1827. John married Sarah Jerusia MARSHALL in Williamson Co. TN on 25 Apr 1853. So far, that's the only connection that I have for John Jackson in Williamson Co. TN. My gggraandfather, Isaac Jackson, was born in Alabama in 1825. According to the 1880 census both parents were born in Georgia. Isaac married my gggrandmother, Missouri Abigail Harriss, in Coosa County, Alabama May 5, 1850 and in November 1850 they are censused in the home of Henry & Delilah Jackson in Talapoosa County, Alabama. Henry was shown to be 62 on the 1850 census. I found where a Henry Jackson married a Delila Gordon in 1809 in Greene County, Georgia. I am trying to find if this is my Henry & Delilah Jackson. If the 1850 census is correct Delila would have been a very young bride. According to a first cousin of my grandfather, my gggrandfather was Isaac Francis Jackson. However, his tomb marker in Gonzales County, Texas shows his name as Isaac Franklin Jackson, according to the Gonzales County genweb site. No date given but he died between 1890 and 1900. Missouri died in Alabama before the move to Texas, probably Mongtomery or Macon County, Alabama.
