Jackson, b. ca 1825, d. ca 1864, m 1851 in Walton Co., GA. He m. Martha Elizabeth Nowell, known as Puss. I have their descendants but had NOTHING on his background. I have a hunch that some listings I recently found in the 1850, 1860, and 1970 GA census records may have given me a clue. Can anyone give me any more info that might help me connect them? The 1850 Clarke Co., GA, census has Obediah Jackson, Sarah, John, Mitchell, Obediah, Madison, Andrew D., Mary, and Susan, all born in GA. The 1860 Gwinnett Co., GA, census has Obadiah Jackson, Sarah, Michel, Matason, Andrew, Mary, and Susan living next door to Obadiah, Georgia A., and William, all born in GA. Two doors down are John F. , Martha, James, Susan, and May or Mary, all born in GA. Next door is William C. Jackson, Mary, Josephine, and Henry, all born in GA. Also of interest nearby is James Jackson, Nancy, and Sarah, all born in SC. The 1870 ! DeKalb Co., GA, census has William C., Mary A., Henry H., Alfred B. Jett and Josaphine Jett, all born in GA. Clarke, Gwinnett, and DeKalb counties are all close together. Anyone have any help? Thanks. June in GA
