My Ggrandfather was born in Bacup England, is buried in Ridgeway ON. His father also came to Canada. They moved to NY State and are seen in the US census of 1890 there. My grandfather was born in the US (his older siblings were born in Canada) but I can not find when they moved back to Canada. They were in Canada in 1911 census and my grandfather attended University in Canada prior to that census. Might there be other Jackson's who trace their ancestors to Bacup England?

Cunningham/Patterson tree I had a George Washington Jackson Sr.(born 1829) and Junior (born 1875), Andrew(born 1858), Mahala (born 1869) and Addie (forgot to write down birth date). Jackson born 1829 and I cannot figure out who his parents are to save my life, I have a suspicion that the children were orphaned because I found a George W. Jackson in one of the census records that is exactly the right age living with a man named Carrol Jackson which I think may be his older brother. hopefully we will find a connection between us eventually please send me your e-mail address, maybe we can keep in touch and figure this thing out e-mail me at [email protected] Latresha Starling Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
