Author: robertnicholson11 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.jackson/4711.3.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: It should be noted that there was a recent DNA match (35 out of 37 factors) between a descendant of Colby Jackson through an all male line and a descendant of Churchwell Jackson, Sr. who was reportedly born in Orange County, Virginia in 1758. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only clue ever discovered about the ancestry of Colby Jackson. I am a descendant of Frances Jackson Holt who was apparently the older sister of Colby Jackson. They lived next door to each other in the 1790 Orange County, North Carolina reconstructed census. Does anyone have a clue about the ancestry of Churchwell Jackson, Sr.?
