Julia M. Jackson was my grandmother and was also told she had Sioux Indian in her. We are trying to date back as far as we can go and find out her mothers birth name. My parents (Lewis & Mary Stockman) were good friends with them in the 1950's. My parents moved around a lot in the 1950's - today they would be considered migrant workers. They picked fruit when/where it was ready. I have photos of them with Buford, Hazel and their son in Michigan and Florida. I do not have any information other than names/photos on the Jackson's. My mother recently passed away and in going through her belongings, I found a few photos of the Jackson's and would like to share them with their descendants. My mom's photos have brought me a little joy during such a difficult time and I would like to share that joy with the Jackson family. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
