I sure would like other opinions about the pros and cons of the different genealogy software. I am currently using FTM and was thinking of upgrading to the new version 10, however, I would like other opinions about other software and if there is a better program available. I use FTM only to access the cds I've bought. I have a Mac and use a program named Reunion...the IBM version is 'Generations'. Absolutely a wonderful and inexpensive program! You have so many good options in the customizing your tree and the notes section on a person is fantastic! When you pull up a person...you see on your screen them and their spouse..all the children and also both sets of parents! If anyone wants a screen shot as to how this looks, let me know and I will send you one! This program is under $40.
