Edna, I received a message today from Gary Ivester, son of James David Ivester whose obituary we discussed a while back. Mother never told me that I was named after her cousin. Dave I recently saw some information on the web regarding Henning Leandre Ivester and his widow Jennie. Henning was/ is my grandfather. I was named for him...Gary Henning. His wife was Jennie Greer Ivester. Henning was killed in a train accident in 1917(?) around Columbia, SC. My father, James David Ivester was only two at the time. Joel Black, referred to in the e-mail I saw, is my uncle. His wife, Viginia was my Dad's sister. Hope this might help. Gary Ivester
