I am from Savannah Ivester Moore. Thanks Donna Thanks Donna, And while we are on the subject I think I have some info. for you but it is a bit strange. Have these census records: 1900 - Habersham Co., Georgia Shirley, William W. - head - Dec 1870 - 30 - md (5 yrs) - Ga-Ga-Ga - Farmer Mattie - wife - Sept 1877 - 22 - md (5) - 2/2 - Ga-Ga-Ga Ad??? - daughter - May 1897 - 3 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Mamie - daughter - Nov. 1899 - 1 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Moore, Elip - boarder - July 1882 - 17 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga - day laborer 1920 - Hancock Co., Georgia Moore, Elip - head - 47 - md - Ga-Ga-Ga - farmer Nancy - wife - 35 - md - Ga-Ga-Ga Lawrence - son - 16 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Luther - son - 15 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Willis - son - 10 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Elmes or Elma - daughter - 6 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Leonard - son - 4 - s - Ga-Ga-Ga Emma's Note: If this is the same Elip Moore from 1900 then he sure aged fast. And.. Susannah is apparently listed as Nancy???? 1930 - Anderson Co., South Carolina Moore, Elip - head - 53 - md at age 22 - Ga-Ga-Ga - Farmer Savannah - wife - 46 - md at age 17 - SC-SC-SC Guy - son - 11 - s - SC-SC-SC Ola M. - daughter - 7 - s - SC-SC-SC Do you know where they might be in 1910. I checked the index of all Moore's in Ga in the Heritage Index and did not come up with them. But.. based on these census records it would appear that they had the following children: Lawrence - b. abt 1904 in Ga Luther - b. abt 1905 in Ga Willis - b. abt 1910 Ga Alma/Elma - b. abt 1914 Ga Leonard - b. abt 1916 Ga Guy - b. abt 1919 SC Ola Mae - b. abt 1923 in SC This does not agree with the b. date you had for Ola Mae. What does it do for the others???? Help... <grin> Thanks and take care - Emma
