Emma, Here is what I have in regards to your questions about the family of Peter Ivester. In 1982 I met and interviewed Arthur Mayfield Ivester who was 86 at the time. He seemed to have a very good memory and we went down the list of his siblings. He gave me what he could. I unfortunately have not done a lot of research on this line since then. I have a Joe Ivester on my list instead of a Jewel Ivester. So, I don't know which one is correct or not. Arthur Ivester told me that Joe Ivester disappeared in the 1930's. 1. Daisy S. Ivester married Bert Pinkley on 8/8/1908 in Iron County, Missouri. I have not traced them further. 2. Jesse T. Ivester. I have a copy of his death certificate and it says he was single at the time of death. He died in St. Louis as the result of a dynamite explosion on his job for the city sewer. He was living with his mother Mary Mae Thompson Ivester Elrod at the time of his death. She is the informant on the death certificate and her address is the same as his. I still don't know if Mary Thompson Ivester Elrod died in Missouri or in Illinois. 3. John N. Ivester - I don't know if he married. 4. Mary Ellen Ivester - no further information. 5. Edna Ivester - no further information. 6. The Elma E. Ivester living next to George Ivester - no further information. That's all I have for now. With 15 children this is a big family to track down. This is also Dawn's line.
