I have recorded this man's name as Francis Newton Ivester/not Frank! Was Frank a nickname for Francis-or whas this his given name? Judy

Hi All, I don't have a definitive answer either, however, his delayed birth certificate showed his name to be Frank Newton Ivester. I show him listed the same as Emma on the 1900 census as Francis N. ,female, daughter. On the 1910, 1920 (ED155 2B), and 1930 (ED 69- 13 3B Image 6) censuses, he is listed as Frank N. Ivester.
